Ashley Derderian Sousa, RN, IBCLC, has nearly ten years of experience as a nurse in labor, delivery, and postpartum units. She believes each journey to becoming a parent is a personal one that should be met with self-compassion.

Jennie Joseph, LM, CPM, is one of the world’s most respected midwives and advocates for systemic healthcare reform. She is the founder and executive director of Commonsense Childbirth and the creator of The JJ Way®, which has helped reduce disparities and radically improve birth outcomes for thousands of families.

Divya Kumar, LCSW, MSW, PMH-C, is a psychotherapist specializing in perinatal mental health and trauma. She is co-founder of the Perinatal Mental Health Alliance for Women of Color, a program within Postpartum Support International that increases perinatal support for communities of color.
